I wasn't lost but I also was not where I should be. And while I knew the general direction home I was not sure how to get back. This is a true story from a crazy experience in our San Gabriel Mountains and it has some strong spiritual correlation. When life knocks you sideways or you find yourself in a tough place due to your own poor choices--a cairn will get you home friends. Enjoy!
